Virginia Ruth (Almond) Gilleland

Virginia R. Gilleland, 82, passed away on Thursday, February 06, 2025.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Eddie Gilleland; father, Willard C. Almond; mother, Ruby A Holder; stepfather, Lester Holder; brother, Gary Holder, with whom she shard a birthday with; brother, JC Almond.

She is survived b y her son, Allen Ruff and wife Sherry; daughter, Tami Guin and husband Steve Guin; grandchildren, Casey Allen Hill, Kimberly Rose Hill, and Kesha Davis.

She retired after many years from Textiles. She loved her grandchildren, was an avid reader, and loved her CBS Soaps. She was a great cook and learned to decorate cakes from Pat-A-Cake Bakery. She had a deep faith in God and was a member of numerous churches in her lifetime
