Teresa (White) Weaver

Teresa White Weaver, 74, of Lawndale made her heavenly transition to her heavenly home on Tuesday, April 11, 2023.

Born in Cleveland County on December 15, 1948, she was the daughter of the late Horace Andrew White and Bernice Montea Cash White of Shelby, and foster child of the late Joe and Mattie Queen of Casar.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Pete Weaver, and sisters, Diane Marlow and Terrie Sigmon.

She is survived by her daughter, Misty Weaver Baker and husband, Taylor of Lawndale, granddaughter, Courtney McNeilly Thomas and husband, Andrew of Belwood. Grandsons, Nicholas McNeilly and Ethan Baker of Lawndale, and sister Linda Haskin and husband, Emmett of Shelby, many nieces and nephews.

Over the last year she had a very special CNA, Sierra Newman, and many nurses from Hospice, Joanie Mabry and Heidi Allen.

She was a member of Oak Grove Church of Lawndale for many years. She probably fed you at least once through the years from the late 70's through early 90's from one of the local grills she worked at. From Bibby Burgers at Bivins Grill in Lawndale, Tommy Turners Burger Van in Casar, and Jerry's Mini Mart in Polkville.

Receiving of Friends will be held at 2:00 PM on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at Oak Grove Church, 418 Oak Grove Clover-Hill Church Road, Lawndale, NC with the Funeral Service to follow at 3:00 PM.
