Kathryn Wilma (Tilley) Causby

CHERRYVILLE - Kathryn Wilma Tilley Causby, 91, went to be in the arms of her Savior on Wednesday, May 18, 2022 at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland . She was born in Statesville, NC to the late Carl and Iva Hartness Tilley. She is also preceded in death by her husband, James Robert Causby.

Kathryn leaves behind to cherish her memories her son, Michael Robert Causby and wife Beth of Shelby; daughter, Sheila C. Palmer and husband Paul of Southport, NC; grandchildren, Scott Palmer and wife Ashley of Naperville, IL, Tracy Tessener and husband Josh of Shelby; great-grandchildren, Alice, Charles, Theodore and Louis Palmer, Baylee Packard and Rylee Tessener.

She was a member of Elizabeth Baptist Church in Shelby. For most of her life, she worked as a Beautician. She was a loving mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be in our hearts forever.

The family will be at: 530 Cherryville Road, Shelby, NC 28150.

Graveside Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Friday, May 20, 2022 at Elizabeth Baptist Church, 301 North Post Road, Shelby, NC 28152. Visitation will be held following the service.
