Dennis Wayne Campfield

SHELBY - Dennis Wayne Campfield, 71, passed away on Monday, February 06, 2023 while at his sons, Scott, home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born in Rutherford County to the late James and Martha Jane Campfield. He is also predeceased by his brother, Jimmy Campfied (Cindy Campfield).

Dennis leaves behind to cherish his memories his spouse, Kathy Campfield; sons, Scott Campfield (Kelly) and Kyle Wright (Amy); daughters, Christy Bailey (Daniel) and Kristi Wright-Sorrells (Christy); grandchildren, Haylee, Hannah, Ryan, Julia, Preston, Karley, Carissa, Kassidy, Olivia, Paige, Hayden, Jaymes and Sophia; 4 great-grandchildren; nephew, Russ Campfield; beloved cat, Aboo.

He worked in Manufacturing until his retirement. He love his family and friends. He enjoyed the outdoors, mowing grass and fishing. He will forever remain in our hearts.

Celebration of Life Services will be held on Friday, February 10, 2023 from 12:30 pm - 2:00 pm at High Shoals Baptist Church, 284 High Shoals Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
