Willie Greene Ervin

SHELBY - Willie Greene Ervin, 43, a native of Boiling Springs, NC, passed away on Saturday, August 08, 2020 at Hospice of Carolina Foothills of Forest City. He is predeceased by his father, Willie Curtis Ervin; step-son, Jason Ayers; mother-in-law, Effine Reynolds; father-in-law, R.B. Reynolds.

Willie leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Terry Ervin of the home; son, John Michael Weaver. step-daughter, April Ayers; grandson, Malachi Barrett; mother, Rachel Ervin; sister, Linda Ervin; niece, Elizabeth Ervin; brother, Wayne Ervin; sister-in-law, Rita Swink; nephew, Johnathan Clary; niece Susan Putnam; numerous nieces, nephews and in-laws.

He was a member of Campfield Baptist Church. He loved music, fishing, wrestling and was an amateur wrestler. He was a gentle soul that loved everyone and will be missed by many.

A Memorial Service will be held on Friday, August 21, 2020 at Campfield Memorial Baptist Church, 369 Campfield Church Road, Ellenboro, NC 28040 at 2:00 PM with Rev. Nicholas King officiating. Seating will be begin 15 minutes before service.
