William Edward Huffman

William Edward Huffman passed away at the age of 97 on Thursday, June 6, 2024 while surrounded by his loving and devoted family.

He is predeceased by his wife of 66 years, Barbara Carpenter Huffman; parents, Guss Huffman and Lenome Hayes Huffman; 5 brothers; 2 sisters. 

He leaves behind to cherish his memory his daughter, Beth Causby and her husband Michael; granddaughter, Tracy Tessener and her husband Joshua; great grandchildren, Baylee Packard and Rylee Tessener; 2 long-time friends, Pinky and Alex Hamrick.  

He retired from his position as a Diesel Mechanic at Overnite in Gaffney SC and was a long time member of New Beginnings Church in Fallston, NC. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, great-grandfather and friend. He will remain in our hearts forever.

The family will accept visitors each day from 2-6 at 530 Cherryville Road leading up to the Graveside Service on Thursday.

A Graveside Service will be held at 1:00 PM on Thursday, June 13, 2024 at Sunset Cemetery, Shelby, NC with Pastor Travis Mull officiating.
