William Dale Bivens

LINCOLNTON - William Dale Bivens, age 68, passed away on Tuesday, February 18, 2020 at his home. A native of Catawba County, he born to Hazel Bivens and the late William Harvey Maners.

William leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Michelle Bivens Hedgpeth, granddaughter, Ashley Hedgpeth and mother, Hazel Bivens all of Lincolnton; step-sons, Tim Cornwell and Jason Lynch; brothers, Tommy Bivens and wife, Lori, Johnny Bivens and Danny Bivens and wife, Shasta; sisters, Barbara Bivens and husband, Mark and Tabitha Leonard and husband, Mark; numerous nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles and cousins.

For most of his life he worked in Furniture as a Line Technician. His hobbies were working on small engines and fishing. He will truly be missed by his friends and family.

A Memorial Service will be held on Saturday, February 22, 2020 at Risen Church, 571 Salem Church Road, Lincolnton, NC 28092 at 2:00 PM with Justin Houser officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to service.
