Wendy Nicole Sumner

SPARTANBURG - On Wednesday, September 6, 2022, Wendy Sumner of Pacolet passed away peacefully in her sleep at the age of 48.  Wendy was born in Fort Benning, GA and attended Beaufort High School.  She worked at BPO American for over 20 years and was a Senior Project Manager at the time of her untimely passing.  She was known for her strong work ethic and dedication to her profession, family and friends. 

She was predeceased by her father W.C. McLeod. 

She is survived by two children, Angelina Cristales of Gaffney and Carmello Cristales of Pacolet; mother, Elaine McLeod Hurst of Beaufort; beloved brothers, Michael and Chuck McLeod; sisters, Wendy Robinson and Angela McLeod Kitner. She had a strong circle of friends many of whom she considered to be family. 

Celebration of Life services will be held at Rock Springs Baptist Church in Blacksburg, SC on Saturday September 24, 2022 at 2 PM. To honor Wendy, we are asking attendees to wear pink.
