Warren Cleophus Terry (Tootie)

SHELBY - Warren C. Terry (Tootie) - Born June 04, 1954 passed away on Friday, May 07, 2021 to be with his heavenly father and angels. He was the type to never meet a stranger and he loved everyone.

He was a truck driver for over 40 years, 35 of those years he drove for Yellow Freight (YRC) where he made alot of friends until he retired in June of 2016. The most important part of his life was his family. Warren was married to the love of his life, JoAnne Terry for 48 years. He hopes to see everyone he loves in heaven.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Mozelle Terry; father, Rev. Paul Eugene Terry; two brothers, Ray Dean Terry and Coye Eugene Terry; one sister, Mary T. Wilkie and brother-in-law Charles Edward Wilkie.

He is survived by his wife, JoAnne Terry; two brothers, Cicero Terry and wife Beverly Terry and David Terry and wife Jerrilynn Terry; one sister, Barbara Wilkie; one sister-in-law, Barbara W. Terry; one brother-in-law, Lee Roy Wilkie; one son, Warren Eugene Terry and wife Melissa W. Terry; two daughters, Misty Cobb and husband Rodney Cobb and Kimberly Davis and husband Joey Davis; four grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; many nieces and nephews who he loved dearly.

Celebration of Life Service will be Saturday May 15, 2021 from 2:00 to 5:00 PM, 2041 Maple Springs Church. Road, Shelby  NC 28152. In lieu of flowers please make donations to Hospice of Cleveland County 951 Wendover Heights Drive, Shelby NC 28150.
