Wanda Jean Johnson Wadkins, alson known as Aunt Wanda, went peacefully to be with the Lord Sunday, March 30, 2025 at her home in North Carolina at the age of 74. Wanda was born in Osceola to Burl and Edna Johnson. Wanda was always a happy person, loved shopp8ing and giving her niece Cathy a hard time.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Burl and Edna Johnson; her daughter, Marsha; son, Daniel; sisters, Kim Burlen4e Smythe and Shirley Dobbs; and brothers, Willard and Woody. Wanda is survived by her sons, Michael Wadkins and his wife Amber of Indiana and Eric Wallis and his wife Kayla of Texas; grandchildren, Alexis, Courtney, Raden, Hunter, Devin and Dallas; five great-grandchildren; and brother, Johnny Lee Johnson of Jonesboro, Arkansas.
She was cherished and taken care of at the home of her niece, Cathy Morrison, and surrounded by a host of nieces and nephews for the last 12 years of her life in North Carolina.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on April 10, 2025 at Cobb Funeral Home Chapel, Blytheville, Arkansas.
