Vickie Jane (Plank) Toney

FOREST CITY - Vickie Jane Plank Toney, 57, passed away on Saturday, July 16, 2022 at Hospice of Carolina Foothills with her husband by her side. She was born to the late John Edward Plank, Jr. and Linda Hagy Plank in Cleveland County, NC. She is also preceded in death by one sister, Deborah Plank; numerous beloved pets.

Vickie leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband of 31 years, Danny Toney of the home; brothers, Mike Plank (Nancy) of Shelby, NC, David Plank (Gina) of Wasillia, AK and Eddie Plank (Sandy) of Lawndale, NC; sisters, Teresa Sigmon (Roger) of Maiden, NC, Elizabeth Jolley (Gary) of Mooresboro, NC and Pamela Greene (Ronnie) of Mooresboro, NC; brother-in-law, Eddie Toney (Gilda) of Forest City, NC; sister-in-laws, Sharon Kesterson (Joey) of Forest City, NC, Tammy Skipper (Kevin) of Forest City, NC, Lora Hardin (Grant) of Lancaster, SC.

She was a graduate of Crest High School Class of 1983. She also attended Isothermal Community College and graduated with an Associate Degree in Computer Science. She loved her pets and her family. She loved to look at and photograph Lighthouses especially at the Outer Banks. She will be missed and will forever be in our hearts.

Celebration of Life Services to follow visitation on Monday, July 18, 2022 at Robert Morgan - Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Forest City, NC 28043. Visitation will begin at 6:00 PM.
