Verda Lorraine (Willis) Higdon

Verda Lorraine Willis Higdon, 60, passed away on Monday, May 08, 2023 while at Atrium Healthcare Lincoln. She was born to the late Blake Willis and Katherine Weathers Willis in Lincoln County. She is also predeceased by three brothers, Ronnie Willis, Ricky Willis and Louie Willis.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, John Higdon; three daughters, Crystal Mathis, Teresa Hefner and Chelsie Higdon; five grandchildren, Cole, Ben, Miley, Summer and Chevelle; one sister, Wanda Davenport; five nieces; three nephews.

She was a homemaker all of her life. She loved her dogs, riding motorcycles and listening to live music. She was a wonderful wife, mother, grandmother, sister and aunt. She will remain in our hearts forever.
