Uriel Santiago-Caban

It is with great sadness that we announce the unexpected passing of our beloved father, grandfather, father-in-law, uncle and significant other, Uriel Santiago-Caban age 67, on Sunday, August 9, 2026 while at his home. He was born to the late Carlos Sanitago and Paula Caban in Moca, Puerto Rico. 

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Oneida Santiago-Cintron, Melissa Santiago and Emily Santiago; grandchildren, Kiara Roche, Jailene Roche, Aaliyah Roche; great-grandchildren, Lorenzo Vassalo and Aria Patterson; son-in-law, Gaspar Cintron; numerous nieces and nephews; significant other, Joyce Fortenberry.

During his lifetime, he worked in Textiles. He loved NY Yankees Baseball and playing Dominos. He enjoyed listening to music. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Monday, August 17, 2026 at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC, 132 East College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152.

Durante su vida, trabajó en Textiles. Amaba el béisbol de los NY Yankees y jugar dominó. Disfrutaba escuchar música. Permanecerá en nuestros corazones para siempre.
