Troy Lee Anthony

Troy Lee Anthony, age 50, of Grover passed away Saturday April 22, 2023 at his residence surrounded by his family. Born on May 06, 1972 to Edna Faye Williams and the late Joseph Aster Anthony, Jr. in Cleveland County. He is also predeceased by his brother, Charise Raymond Anthony.

Troy leaves behind to cherish his memories his spouse, Brenda Anthony of Grover; sons, AJ Duncan and Allen Carpenter; daughters, Megan Callaway and Amber Mulkey; grandsons, Aaron Carpenter, Jordon Carpenter, Jayden Scronce, Grayson Wiley and Silas Callaway; mother, Edna Faye Williams; sisters, Samantha Navey of Shelby and Tina Jo Anthony of Panama City.

He attended Burns High School and Cleveland Community College. He was employed by Bernhardt Furniture. He loved going to church and spending time with his family. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, son, brother and will be missed by his family and friends.

Funeral Services will be held at 6:00 PM on Wednesday, April 26, 2023 at Way of the Cross Freewill Baptist Church, 875 East Zion Church Road, Shelby, NC with Pastor Justin Grigg officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
