Trina Dawn (Butler) Cook

We are sad to announce the passing of our beloved wife, mother, grandmother, daughter and friend, Trina Dawn Butler Cook, on Sunday, June 14, 2026 while surrounded by her loving and devoted family. She was born in Cleveland County to Brenda Lawson and the late Robert Butler.

Left behind to cherish her memory are her loving spouse of 24 years, Jimmy Cook of the home; sons, Michael Sisk and wife, Jessica Sisk and Brandon Lawson, wife, Rachel Lawson; grandson, Xander Sisk; granddaughter, Daphne Lawson; mother, Brenda Lawson and husband, Thomas Lawson.

During some of her lifetime, she was Custodian for Drury Dobbins Baptist Church. She enjoyed collecting jewelry and going to thrift stores. She was an avid animal lover. She will always and forever be in our hearts.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held from 3:00 pm - 5:00 pm on Saturday, July 11, 2026 at Cooper Springs Congregational Holiness Church, 5840 Bostic Sunshine Hwy, Bostic, NC 28018.
