Timothy Shane Goforth

RUTHERFORDTON - Timothy Shane Goforth, 45, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022 at Rutherford Regional Medical Center surrounded by his family. He was born in Cleveland County, Kings Mountain Township, North Carolina.  

Shane leaves behind to cherish his memories his mother, Laura Arledge; father, Lester Allen Barnett; three sisters, Tara Nicole Jolley, Amanda Jolley Wheeler and Selena Clements; four aunts, Liz Barnett, Christine Dotson, Mary Louise Brown and Barbara Barnett; two uncles, David Brown and Coby Barnett.

Shane worked in Construction. He enjoyed his mustang, the beach at lake lure along with the mountains. Shane was a caring and giving person in life, and that giving continued in death as he was able to help many others live by donating his organ, eyes, and tissues. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.

A Celebration of Life Service will be at 11:30 AM at Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Forest City, NC 28043 on Wednesday, August 17, 2022.
