Obituary
Thomas Michael "Mike" Putnam, 71, passed away on Monday, July 10, 2023 while at Spartanburg Regional. He was born in Blacksburg, South Carolina to the late Thomas Lee Putnam and Ethel Wells Putnam. Mike was also proceeded in death by his brother, Donald Lee Putnam.
Left to cherish his memories are his three children, Michael "Buster" Putnam, Nicholas Putnam, and Nikki Moore; seven grandchildren, Alyssa, Kylie, and Brodie Putnam, Mikey, Zane, and Tanner Putnam, and Riley Moore; three great-grandchildren, Brantley, Kolby, and Kayleigh Putnam; and three sisters, Gloria Martin, Shirley Ramsey, and Peggy Bartee.
Mike graduated from Blacksburg High School and played baseball for the Carolina A's. He was a retired carpenter. He will remain in our hearts forever.
A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, July 16, 2023 at Holly Ridge Presbyterian Church, 658 Tribal Road, Blacksburg, South Carolina beginning at 3:00 p.m.
