Thomas Darrell Nazelrod

Thomas "Tom" Darrell Nazelrod, 70, passed away on Sunday, January 21, 2024 while at his home surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born in Maryland to the late Victor and Rosallie Melton Nazelrod. He is also predeceased by sister-in-law, Louise Ledford McCraw; brother-in-law, Steve Tessneer, Larry Ledford and Jake Ledford; mother-in-law, Hazel B. Ledford and husband Greg Ledford.

Left to cherish his memories are his loving wife of 40 years, Harriette Ledford Nazelrod; son, Chad Nazelrod and wife, Adena; daughter, Sydney McCraw; grandson, Dustin Nazelrod; great-grandson, Solaris Nazelroad; sister-in-law, Kathy L. Tessneer; brother-in-law, Wayne Ledford and Larry Ledford; niece, Mendy Tessneer and husband Greg Stiehler, Krystal Richard and husband, Scott Richard, Barbara McIntyre and husband Steve McIntyre and Kelli McCraw; great-nephew, Jacob Davidson and Michael Bailes; great-niece, Hazel Tessneer; great-great-niece, Ashley McIntyre, Stephanie Bailes and Hazel Bailes; great-great-nephew, Liam Baugher.

Tom worked at PPG Industries. He enjoyed working on cars, fishing, going to concerts, going to dog racing and shooting guns. He enjoyed spending time with his wife. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, brother, brother-in-law, uncle and great-uncle. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him. 

Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 24, 2023 at Cleveland Memorial Park Mausoleum, 1225 College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152. Burial to follow immediately after service.
