Stanley Martin Henson

It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather, Stanley Martin Henson, 73, on Tuesday, July 14, 2026 while at Orchard Valley Health and Rehabilitation, Asheville, North Carolina. He was born in Union, South Carolina to the late Joseph Freeman Henson and Nellie Smart Henson. He is also predeceased by his sister, Stephanie Joy Henson; grandparents, Martin Bedford Smart and Fannie Mae Smart.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Patricia Henson; sister, Janice Harmon (Ron); daughters, Stacy Henson and Heather Greene (Brian); son, Samuel Henson (Samantha); grandchildren, Zachary Henson, Austin Beheler (Ashley), Matthew Greene, Alexander Greene, Samantha Henson, and Dakota Henson; great-grandchild, Scarlett Beheler.

During most of his lifetime, he was a Mill Textile Worker. He was raised by his loving grandmother, Fannie Mae. He will remain in our hearts forever.

A Memorial Gathering will be held from 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm on Sunday, 26, 2026 at Church of the Nazarene, 728 Harmon Road, Forest City, NC 28043.
