SHELBY - Sherry Denise Swafford, 66, transitioned to her Heavenly home on Friday, November 25, 2022 while at her home. She is predeceased by her parents

Denise leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Kelli Salinas (Jessie); son, David Swafford, Jr. (Millie); grandchildren, TJ Salinas, Jami Bailey, Hannah Swafford, Wynter Harris and Liliane Harris; sister, Penny Grigg; life long friend, Cathy Romines; aunt, Judith Carter (Terry); uncle, Keith Wright (Dorothy); many special cousins; beloved dogs, Tara and Baby.

She was a member of Dover Baptist Church of Shelby. She worked for Doran Textiles, Union School, Double Shoals Supermarket, Ingles Gas Express and Bojangles. She loved going to the beach, playing Bingo, spending time with her family especially her grandchildren and dogs. She will remain in our hearts forever.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 03, 2022 at Dover Baptist Church, 1501 Polkville Rd, Shelby, NC 28150 with Bulo Price officiating. Visitation will be held immediately after the service.
