SHELBY - Sheila Gantt Bowen, age 73 died Sunday, November 15, 2020 at Atrium Healthcare in Shelby, NC after complications with COVID-19. She was born in Cleveland County on March 08, 1947 to Thurman and Margie Gantt who preceded her death along with her sibling Larry Dean Gantt.

She is survived by her daughter, Pam Mauney and husband Gene from Blacksburg, SC; son, Rodney Bowen of Grover, NC; grandchildren, Wendy Leopard of Kings Mountain, NC, Marcus Mauney of Spartanburg, SC, Matthew Mauney of Greenville, SC and Case Bowen of Kings Mountain, NC; great-grandchildren, Holden Neal of Blacksburg, SC, Logan Neal of Blacksburg, SC, McKayla Polson of Kings Mountain, NC and Natalie Breedlove of Kings Mountain, NC; great-great-grandchildren, Madelyn Polson, Skylyn Polson and one on the way.

Due to the circumstances of COVID-19 the family has chosen to do a Private Service.
