Russell Lewis Ballew, Jr.

Russell Lewis Ballew, Jr. born on October 21, 1979, 44 years old, passed away on Wednesday, November 15, 2023 in Blacksburg, SC. He was a resident of Spartanburg, SC and was born in Gastonia, NC to Cynthia Dennis and the late Russell Lewis Ballew, Sr. He is also predeceased by a sibling, Nichole Ballew.

Left to cherish his memories are his children, Destiny Ballew, Melissa Powell, William Ballew, Layton Ballew, Helena Ballew and Tony Ballew; five grandchildren; former spouse, Bridget Ballew; significant other, Kelli Ruppe; siblings, Janel Walker, David Ballew, William C. Ballew, Aaron Kennedy and Barrett Ballew; step-father, Richard Dennis.

He enjoyed fishing, hiking and exploring the woods but most of all he loved spending time with his family. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, spouse/significant other and brother. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
