Ronald Lester McClellan, Sr.

Ronald Lester McClellan, Sr., 83 died Wednesday, March 13, 2023 in Gastonia, NC after a long illness.

Mr. McClellan was born April 17, 1939 in Philadelphia, PA . He married Sarah Myrtle Kealey McClellan and had three children Marybeth, Veronica, and Ronald Lester McClellan, Jr.(Sonny).  He was a skilled carpenter and enjoyed gardening.  He was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church in Kannapolis, NC.

Predeceased in death by his wife Sarah, daughter Veronica, and son Sonny.

He is survived by his daughter, Marybeth McClellan, 8 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, and 3 great great grandchildren.  

Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
