Rodney Eugene Short

Rodney Eugene Short, 62, passed away on Monday, December 25, 2023 while at his home. He was the son of the late Junior and Annette Moss Short. He loved riding motorcycles and being part of the American Legion Riders. In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by wife, Donna Short; and two grandsons.  

Left behind to cherish his memory are his sons, Brad Short and wife, Michelle, Brian Short and Lori, and Bobby Short and wife, Angela all of Kings Mountain, NC; sisters, Kim Loftin and husband, Fred and Selena Fite and husband, Keith both of Kings Mountain, NC; 10 grandchildren; one great-grandchild; one great-grandchild on the way; girlfriend, Pamela Braddy. 

Visitation will be held from 6:00 PM - 8:00 PM on Tuesday, January 2, 2024 at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Services, 132 East College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152. Graveside Services will be held at 1:00 PM on Wednesday, January 3, 2024 at Harvest Baptist Church, 144 Ware Road, Kings Mountain, North Carolina 28086 with Pastor Ray Goodson officiating.
