SHELBY - Rodney "Bruce" Hamrick, 77 of Shelby, passed away at his home on Wednesday, November 25, 2020. He was born on November 1, 1943 in Shelby, NC, a son of the late Chalmer and Willie Hamrick.
In addition to his mother and father, Bruce was preceded in death by his late wife, Faye Taylor Hamrick of 57 years; his brother, Jimmy Hamrick and wife Patricia Hamrick of Shelby.
Bruce is survived by his three children, Timmy Hamrick, Jeanette Bridges, husband Bobby and Robin Hamrick Hannon, husband Tracy; two grandchildren, Bobby Bridges II, fiance' Makala, and Stacey Hannon; one step-grandchild, Shae Glover; two great-grandchildren, Harleigh and Charlie, all of Shelby. sister, Sheila Burns, husband Claude of Union, SC.
No Services are planned at this time and will be announced at a later date.
