SHELBY - Robert Eugene Lucas, age 73, a resident of Shelby, North Carolina was born in Covington, Kentucky on November 4, 1946. Bob died peacefully at home on Wednesday, January 15, 2020.

He is survived by his wife, Ana Lucas and numerous family members. Bob was a friend to all and will be missed by those he nurtured and loved. For most of his life he worked as a Supervisor in Airport Cargo.
