Richard Eugene Gantz, Jr.

Richard Eugene Gantz, Jr., 62 passed away on Wednesday, September 16, 2026 while at his home in Shelby, North Carolina. He was born in Kane, Pennsylvania to the late Richard Eugene Gantz and Phyllis Nicklas Gantz. He is also predeceased by his step-father, Jim Irwin.

Left to cherish his memory is his finance' of 18 years, Lisa Huss of the home; brother, Chris Gantz (Terri) of Williams Port, PA; sister, Staci Lathrop; numerous nieces and nephews; great-nephew and niece; aunts, Darlene Bizzek and Lynn Chandler; extended family.

During his lifetime, he proudly served in the United States Army, Navy and Marines. Then he went on to work as a Warehouse Associate. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will truly be missed.
