Renita Lynn (Ledbetter) Moss

Renita Lynn Moss went to her heavenly home on Thursday, June 23, 2023 while at Wendover Hospice House.  She was born in Cleveland County to the late Thomas and Wynette Ledbetter.  "Nita" is also predeceased by her sister, Donna Ledbetter Howard and her brother, Wayne Ledbetter; father-in law, James Moss; mother-in-law, Julia Moss; sister-in-law, Marsha Davis.

Left to cherish her memory are her husband, Jack Moss; daughter, Michael Moss; grandchildren, Allandria, Ethan, Elizabeth, Faith, Nevaeh, Phoenix; brothers, Curtis Ledbetter, Donald Ledbetter and wife Bo of Georgia, Michael Ledbetter and wife Gail, Tommy Ledbetter, Chad Ledbetter; sisters, Amy Hope and Kelly Weaver; step-mother, Janet Ledbetter; brother-in-law, Bobby Howard; sister-in-law, Sandra McNeely and husband Keith; brothers-in-law, Gary Moss and wife Nancy, Randy Moss and wife, Judith; numerous nieces and nephews.

Nita was a graduate of Shelby High School.  She worked many years at Fasco and at the deli / bakery at Ingles Supermarket.  She loved the outdoors, camping, and gardening.   Her favorite pastime was being "Mimi" to her six precious grandchildren.  She will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, June 25, 2023 at Springmore Baptist Church, 651 McBrayer Homestead Road, Shelby, North Carolina beginning at 2:00 p.m.  The family will receive friends following the service.
