Reba Chloe (Miller) Smith

Reba Chloe Miller Smith, 74, passed away on Thursday, April 04, 2024 while at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland. She was born to the late Wilbur Daniel Miller and Grace Price Miller on November 26, 1949 is Shelby, NC. She is also predeceased by sister, Rebecca Diane Miller; maternal grandparents, Ervin and Meade Patterson Pake of Blacksburg, SC; fraternal grandparents, John and Pude Willis Miller of Asheville, NC; special friend, Thurman (Nebo) Humphries; daughter, Rebecca Diane Smith.

Left to cherish her memory are her son, Robert Ervin Smith and wife, Katie F. Smith of Shelby, NC; grandchildren,  Jacob B. Smith, Amber Selene Smith, Dustin (Sarah) of Shelby, NC, Daniel Beck (Victoria) of Crown Point, IN, Casey Lamb of Schererville, IN and Caleb Ochs of Gilbert, AZ; great-grandsons, Hunter Smith of Kings Mountain, NC and Breydan Smensein of Crown Point, IN; sister, Cheryl Phifer (Tommy) of Hampton, VA; nephew, Paul Leslie (Kristy) of Smithfield, VA; niece, Erica Hendrick (David) of S. Chesterfield, VA.

She was born and raised in South Shelby. She graduated from Shelby High School in 1968 and studied Cosmetology at Shelby Beauty School. She worked at Lilly Mills then Cleveland Memorial Hospital.

She loved to cook, clean and take care of her family which she took pride in. She will remain in our hearts forever.

She loved everyone, especially her children, grandchildren, niece and nephew.

She loved to color with crayons which she was exceptionally good at. 

Celebration of Life Services will be announced at a later date.
