Paul Edward McKinney

Paul Edward McKinney, 84, passed away peacefully surrounded by his loving and devoted family on Friday, October 24, 2025 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills. He was born in Hamblen, TN to the late Hugh McKinney and Alda Amos McKinney. He is also predeceased by his wife, Maxine McKinney; sons, Tony McKinney and Joey McKinney; daughters, Myra Kelley and Missy Greene; brother, Wayne McKinney.

Left to cherish his memory are his daughters, Charlene Anderson (Ron), Tina Kelly and Jennifer Cole (Michael); grandson, Justin McKinney; granddaughter, Shelby McKinney; grandson, Johnathon Kimbrell; grandson, Carl Jolley (Ainjal); grandson, Logan Kelly; granddaughter, Taylor Wallace; grandson, Logan Wallace; granddaughter, Destinee Henson; grandson, Jaxton Hawkins; grandson, Adam McKinney; 2 great-grandsons; 1 great-granddaughter.

Paul served in the United States Army. He enjoyed reading Western stories, watching "In The Heat of The Night" and UFS/mma. He loved spending time with his family and friends especially his grandchildren and great-grandchildren. He will remain in our hearts forever.

A Celebration of Life Service will be held at 2:00 PM on November 08, 2025 at Still Waters Baptist Church, 1471 Oakland Road, Forest City, NC 28043 with Ted Blankenship and Sam Ramsey officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of the Carolina Foothills, Still Waters Baptist Church or the American Lung Association.
