Paul Steve Grant

SHELBY - Paul Steve Grant, 74, native of Cleveland County, passed away on Friday, August 12, 2022 at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Adelean Fitch Grant; four brothers, Harvey Grant, Everette Grant, Hazel Grant and Billy Grant; three sisters, Mabel Pearson, Ree Hull and Ercie Grant.

Steve leaves to cherish his memories his wife, Juanita Grant of the home; one daughter, Donna Jones; two sons, Mike Grant (Misty) and Curtis Lewis (Denise); nine grandchildren, Nikki Lewis, April Arnold, Billy Lewis, Katie Whitworth, Carie Whitworth, David Grant, Ricky Grant, Chipper Jones, and Sarah Jones; numerous great-grandchildren; one sister, Frances Booth; numerous nieces and nephews.

After serving in the United States Navy he went to work and retired from Doran Mills. He enjoyed carp fishing, NASCAR Racing and Dale Earnhardt, Sr. being his favorite and tinkering. He loved spending time with his friends and family. He will truly be missed.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 4:00 p.m. on Tuesday, August 23, 2022 at Rutherford Chapel, 124 Fair Hope Street, Forest City, NC 28043.
