YORK, SC - Oradellis “Dell” Sinclair, matriarch to the Sinclair family, passed to eternal glory on Thursday morning with family at her side. She was preceded in death by her husband, Press; parents, Oscar and Paralee Laws; sisters, Vera Jones, Raney Douglas, Edna Jonas, and Shirley Kay Laws; grandson, Chad Clinton; great-granddaughter, Savannah Sinclair.
Celebrating her life yet mourning their loss, remaining family members are daughters, Brenda Wooten (Tom) and Gayle Clinton (Eddie); son, Stan Sinclair (Pam); six grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; two step-great-grandchildren; brother-in-law, Bill Jonas; numerous nephews and nieces.
Dell’s life of nearly 91 years was very active until illness struck her in early 2019. She worked for 37 years with Homelite as an administrative assistant and, following her retirement, worked another 19 years as the treasurer/secretary for Midway Baptist Church. She enjoyed fishing, researching and documenting family history, and cooking for family and friends. Everyone loved her pulled butter mints. She had a deep love for the Lord and her church family.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital by either mailing a donation designated for St. Jude to Midway Baptist Church, 12984 Hwy 55 W, York, SC 29745 or by visiting stjude.org.

Memorial Services will be held on Sunday, October 04, 2020 at Midway Baptist Church, 12984 Hwy. 55 W, York, SC 29745 at 3:00 PM with Rev. Eric Sinclair and Rev. Mark Dellinger officiating. Internment is private for family only.
