SHELBY - Mildred Jean Bumgardner Ramsey, 89, passed away on Sunday, January 17, 2021 at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland. She is predeceased by her husband, Robert E. Ramsey; parents, Alfred and Mamie Wilson Bumgardner; brothers, A.C.Bumgardner and Claude Bumgardner; sisters, Billie Finney, Sue Johnson, Lucy Dellinger and Ruth Vickers.
Mildred leaves behind to cherish her memories her daughter, Elizabeth Ramsey Ayers; granddaughter, Cherie Ledford; grandson, Terry Ayers; great-grandsons, Felix Mathis and Royceton Ayers.
For all of her life she was a homemaker. She enjoyed spending time with her family especially her grandchildren. She will be in our hearts forever.
A Celebration of Life Service will be held on Wednesday, January 20, 2021 at Sandy Plains Baptist Church, 2112 New House Rd, Shelby, NC 28150 at 1:00 PM.
