Michael "Mike" Dean Jolley

It is with heavy hearts and great sadness that we announce the passing of Michael "Mike" Jolley, 76, on Friday, June 13, 2025 while at his home surrounded by his loving family. He was born in Spartanburg, SC to the late Ara Burton Jolley and Orelia Bailey Jolley. He is also predeceased by his sister, Norma Chalk.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife of 59 years, Diane Mitchem Jolley of the home; son, Todd Jolley and spouse Dawn Jolley; daughter, Crystal Blackburn; grandchildren, Justin Blackburn and spouse Dannah Blackburn, Skylar Blackburn, Paige Bumgarner and spouse Brandon Bumgarner; great-grandchildren, Paislee, Mason, Weslie, Wyatt Blackburn and Marleigh Bumgarner. beloved grand-dog, Heidi.

Mike was a member of Crestview Baptist Church of Shelby. He was also a member of Masonic Lodge #460. He retired from Duke Energy after 30+ years. He enjoyed watching Atlanta Braves Baseball, watching Carolina Panthers Football, cutting grass, and watching hummingbirds. He loved spending time with his family. He will truly be missed and will remain in our hearts forever.

Celebration of Life Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Wednesday, June 18, 2025 at Crestview Baptist Church,  1090 Old Boiling Springs Road, Shelby, NC 28152 with Rev. Artie Hubbard officiating. Visitation will be held 2 hours prior to the service.
