LAWNDALE - Michael Scott Whetstine, 56, passed away on Thursday, February 10, 2022. He was born in Cleveland County, Kings Mountain, NC on January 11, 1966, son of the late Connie Lee Belk and Charles Sloan Whetstine. He is also predeceased by maternal grandparents, Irene and Hal Belk; paternal grandparents, Lucy and Charles Whetstine.
Michael is survived by his wife of 34 years, Cindy Whetstine; daughter, Amber Whetstine and fiance' Chris Richards; daughter, Kassy Ledford and husband Josh Ledford; grandchildren, Weston, Easton and Baylee Ledford; brother, Jimmy Whetstine and wife Christie Whetstine.
He was a Carpenter for over 40 years. He was a huge Green Bay Packers fan. He loved his family dearly and his dog Daisy. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Funeral Services will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday, February 12, 2022 at Hudson Memorial Baptist Church, 762 Warlick Road, Lawndale, NC 28090. Visitation will be held two hours prior of service from 12:00 PM - 2:00 PM.
