SHELBY - Michael David Hamrick, 71, passed away on Saturday, July 25, 2020 at Atrium Healthcare - Shelby. He is proceeded in death by his parents, Camp and Mae Ruth Hamrick; father and mother-in-law, Tom and Virginia Hamrick; sisters, Ethel Henigan and Rachel Williams; daughter, Machon Hamrick; son, Jeremy Sperling; granddaughters, Hannah and Alexis Mason; great-granddaughter, Lexi Hooper.

Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories his wife, Mary Hamrick of the home; daughters, Micah Holiday (Brandon), Michelle Mason (Mike) and Brandilyn Simmons; sons, Jeff Hamrick (Chrissy), Brad Sperling (Niki) and Thomas Sperling (Sandi); brothers, Langdon Hamrick (Mildred) and Kenneth Russ (Shirley); sisters, Kay Williamson (Paul) and Kathy Byers (Terry); grandchildren, His World, Christian Dimsdale, Ethan Beam, Grace Holiday, Emma Holiday, Kelsey Hooper (Alex), Michael, Courtney, Lane, Storm Mason, Krystal Bowen (Jordy), Stephen Gregory (Amber), Tiffany Sperling, Ashley Moore (Kyle), Erika Simmons, Christopher Sperling (Sarah), Dillon, Matthew, Ava and Waylon Sperling, Nathon, David, Aaron and Anna Sperling, Brooke and Blake Hamrick; his good-boy companion, Peanut; numerous very special nieces and nephews; ten great-grandchildren.

Michael enjoyed fishing, working on his tractor, and spending time with his grandchildren.

Receiving of Friends and Celebration of Life Service will be held on Saturday, August 01, 2020 at 1939 Gaffney Road, Shelby, NC at 5:30 PM with Roger Webb and Ethan Beam officiating.
