Michael Champion Obituary
MOORESBORO - Michael Herbert Champion, 73, native of Cleveland County, passed away on Tuesday, March 16, 2021 at his home. He is predeceased by his wife, Jayne Isaacson Champion; parents, Clifton Ormond Champion and Arizona Carrel Champion; brother, Cliff Champion.
Michael leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Heidi Sherman and husband, Jimmy Sherman; son, Jason Champion and wife, Gwynn Ivester Champion; daughter, Heather Champion Smith and husband, Shannon Smith; grandchildren, Dyan Sherman, Grace Sherman, Michael Callahan, McKayla Callahan, Kendyll Blackburn, Noah Smith and Caleb Smith; sister, Betty Champion Smith and husband, Gary Smith.
Michael served in the United States Army. He loved hunting, fishing and spending time with his grandchildren. He will truly be missed.
A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, March 23, 2021 at Sandy Run Baptist Church at 3:00 PM.
