Michael Robert Carver, Jr., 38, passed away on Saturday, April 29, 2023 while at Caromont. Born in Mecklenburg County to Angela Hood Simonds and Michael Carver, Sr. He is predeceased by his Paw Paw, Don Hood; Granny, Shirley Carver.

Left behind to cherish his memories are his mother, Angela Hood Simonds; father, Michael Carver, Sr.; brothers, Chris Carver and Rickey Carver; nephews, Preston and Sebastian Carver; maw maw, Jeanette Hood; paw paw, Rob Carver.

He was a carpenter and electronic repairman. He was a fan of all sports, especially the Tampa Bay Buccaneers. He loved cooking for people and making them laugh. He loved playing with his nephews and visiting relatives. He loved all kinds of music. He will be missed by all who knew and loved him.

Funeral Services will be held at 3:00 PM on Sunday, May 07, 2023 at Springmore Baptist Church, 651 McBrayer Homestead Road, Shelby, NC 28152. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service.
