MOORESBORO - Mary Charlene Queen Moore, 69, passed away on Tuesday, October 26, 2021 at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland. She was born in Cleveland County to the late Fletcher and Ruth Branch Queen. She is also preceded in death by a brother, David Queen

Charlene leaves behind to cherish her memories her husband, Michael Moore; daughters, Toni Moore (David), Jennifer Moore (Jake) and Ciara Henson (Brandon); grandchildren, Brandon, Chase, and Alesha Greene, Jammal Phillips and Yasmine Light; great-grandchildren, Terry, A.J., and Damon Phillips, Bixleigh and Brynlee Greene; sisters, Pat Hardin (James), Dennis Simpson (Curtis) and Geraldine Chapman; special sisters, Brenda Jones, Florence Humphries, Kathy Whitier, Judy Emory and Helen Strange; special friend, Sandy Greene; numerous nieces and nephews; special nieces, Jamie Howell and Lisa Packard; special nephews, Jeff and Frankie Humphries.

She was a homemaker and loved spending time with her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren. She loved the Red truck and going to Goodwill stores She was an amazing wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will forever remain in our hearts.

A Funeral Service will be held at 3:00 pm on Friday, October 29, 2021 at Trinity Baptist Church, 746 Trinity Church Road, Mooresboro, NC 28114 with Rev. Roy Johnston officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be held at Cleveland Memorial Park, 1225 College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152 immediately following the service.
