Martha Ellen (Williams) Gilliam

Martha Ellen Williams Gilliam, 76, formerly of Runyan Road, Grover, passed away on Sunday, August 13, 2023 while at her home. Recently residing with her son, daughter-in-law and grandchildren.

Preceded in death by her husband, of 53 years, James Alfred (Pop/Bill) Gilliam; parents, Marion Washington and Minnie Bentley Williams; siblings, Vickie Williams and Pat Murray.

She leaves behind to cherish her memory a son, Michael Gilliam (Dawn); grandchildren, Jamie (Teaira), Jayda, Makenly and Fiancé Jaden Weaver; 2 future great-grandchildren, Oakland and Dakota; special family members, Ashley Lewis, Hayden Lewis, and Haileigh Weaver; siblings, David Williams (Priscilla), Joyce McKinney (Junior), and Ann Williams (Charles); 2 sister-in-laws, Judy Walker, and Margaret Black (Elmer).

Martha lived a hard life, but during her last days she was surrounded by family; loved on, cared for, sang to, and danced with. She will be remembered for all the heart and love she shared, especially her undying love for Elvis Presley. “Until we meet again, may God bless you as he has blessed me.” - Elvis Presley
