Lesley Michelle (Deaton) Clark

Lesley Clark, age 52, of Crossnore, passed away on Monday, May 01, 2023 while at Cleveland County Hospice. Born December 29, 1970, she was the daughter of the late Terrell Deaton and Anita Powell Lowenberg. She is also predeceased by her grandparents, Nellis and Patria Deaton and Alieen and Larry Powell.

Left to cherish her memories are her husband, Michael Clark; daughter, Jesse Schwartz and husband, Joseph Schwartz; grandson, Landon Keller; granddaughter, Isabella Schwartz; stepsons, Robert and Kori Clark; As well as many aunts, uncles, cousins and friends.

Previously, she was a florist and head designer in Morganton before returning to Avery County. She enjoyed being outside and continued her work there, picking berries, doing flower beds in the Linville community, and making wreaths and garlands each Christmas season.

Visitation will be held from 11:00 AM - 12:30 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home, 296 Ash Street, Newland, NC. 28657. Graveside Service will be held following the visitation at 3:00 PM on Saturday, May 6, 2023 at Calvary Church, 3747 Pea Ridge Road, Morganton, NC 28655.
