Larry Eugene Towery

Larry Eugene Towery, 73, passed away on Thursday, August 28, 2025 while at VIA Health Partners - Wendover. He was born to the late Cleavy Eugene Towery and Darcus Davis in Cleveland County, NC. He is also predeceased by a daughter, Wanda Epley; brother, David Towery.

Left to cherish his memory are his wife, Mollie Towery of the home; sons, Edward Epley (Opie), and Joseph Towery; daughters, Maxine Epley, and Ivey Earls; sister, Cindy Oaks; no step-children involved. He said they were all his kids; 15 grandchildren; 20 great-grandchildren.

He retired from Glenn Lumber Company of 20+ years. He loved to carp fish, watch Andy Griffith and Leave It To Beaver. He loved and enjoyed spending time with all of his grandbabies and great-grandbabies. He also loved his beloved dog, Baby.

Private Services will be held at a later date.
