SHELBY - Lamonte Denorris Archie was born on November 05, 1981 to the late Tracy Archie. He left to be with his Heavenly Father on May 27, 2022.
Lamonte adored his family, and was very passionate about their well-being. He loved all of his family beyond measure. Lamonte could often be found speaking to everyone he encountered. He never met a stranger. Fishing, dancing and singing were some of his things to do. Lamonte also had a '"green thumb" as he had a great love for planting, cutting grass and being in nature. He loved sports and was a big fan of The Oakland Raiders. He attended Crest High School. Lamonte worked at Livestock for 15 years.
Lamonte's Uncle James was like a father to him and he spent time with him every time he was in Grover. Lamonte would cut his grass, and help him in any way he could. Their relationship was an unbreakable bond and will surely be missed. Lamonte will be sorely missed, and forever treasured by all of his family members.

"IN LOVING MEMORY OF A VERY SPECIAL HUSBAND"
When God was making husbands as far as I can see,
He made a special Soulmate especially for me.
He made a perfect gentleman, compassionate and kind,
With more love and affections than you could ever wish to find.
He gave my darling husband a heart of solid gold,
He gave me wonderful memories only my heart can hold.
He was someone I could talk to that no one can replace,
He was someone I could laugh with until tears ran down my face.
Next time we meet will be at Heaven's door,
When I see you standing there I won't cry anymore.
I will put my arms around you and kiss your smiling face,
Then the pieces of my broken heart will fall back into place.
Your Loving Wife, Diana Wilson Archie
