SHELBY - Johnny William Walker, Jr., 65, went peacefully to his heavenly home on Friday, March 12, 2021. He was born in Cleveland County to the late John William Walker and Betty Lois Russ Walker. He is also preceded in death by his maternal and paternal grandparents; sister, Debbie Jo Walker; brother-in-law, Tim Hamrick.

Johnny leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Nicole Kaylor (Mark); son, Christopher Walker (Kezia); four granddaughters; two grandsons; five great-grandchildren; sister, Lori Hamrick; brother, David Walker; numerous nieces and nephews.

He served in the United States Army and the United States Navy. Later, he was honorably discharged and then served as a Security Officer for the rest of his career before retiring. After retiring, he loved to play bingo and to spend time with his dogs who he is now reunited with. He will truly be missed by all those who knew and loved him He will forever be in our hearts.
