Johnnie Roger Conner, Sr.

Johnnie Roger Conner, Sr. (Roger) of Rutherford County passed away on Sunday, July 13th, 2025 at Hospice of the Carolina Foothills of Forest City, NC. He was born on June 02, 1945 to the late Thelma Conner and Jim Conner. 

He was an avid guitar player/musician.

He leaves behind his wife, Ruth Conner of 27 years. He also leaves behind brothers, Jimmy Conner (Patty), Ronald Conner (Spanky) and Teddy Joe Conner; sister, Cindy Alexander (Joe); son, Johnny Conner, Jr. (Tonya); daughters, Rhonda Conner, Angie Conner, and Alisha Fowler; step-son, Jeremy Williams; many grand and great-grandchildren;

He is preceded in death by his brother, Donald Conner; son, Tommy Conner.

A Visitation will be held from 1:00 PM - 3:00 PM on Saturday, July 19, 2025 at Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC, 132 East College Avenue, Shelby, NC 28152.
