John David Self`

John David Self, 55, suddenly passed away on Saturday, July 05, 2025 while at his home. He was born in Cleveland County, NC to the late James Howard Self and Ada Self. He is also proceded in death by his sister, Hilda Roskam.

David is survived by his loving life-long partner, Tara Jolley; sons, Joshua Self and Matt Self; brother, Dean Self.

David loved playing guitar with his son, Josh, and spending time with the love of his life, Tara and then family.

David worked in Resale and as a Fork Lift Driver, He was loved by all who knew him and will be missed dearly.

A Private Memorial Service for family and close friends will be held at a later date.
