FOREST CITY - John Douglas Lookadoo, 50, transitioned to his Heavenly home on Tuesday, November 15, 2022 while at his home.
John leaves behind to cherish his memories his daughter, Nichole Gero; grandchildren, Lily Parker, Leland, NeVaeh and Amelia Gero; mother, Rosa Lee Lookadoo; father, Ronnie Ray Stafford; brothers, Richard Luckadoo, Don Lookadoo (twin brother), Johnny Stafford and Steven Stafford; sisters, Kimi Lopez, Christina Lookadoo, Becky Smith, Stella Bond Stafford and Connie Stafford; one nephew; two great-nephews.
He volunteered with Sandy Mush Fire Department for 18 1/2 years. He also worked at Cone Mills for 15 years. He was a wonderful father, grandfather, son, brother and uncle that will remain in our hearts forever. He will truly be missed by all who knew and loved him.
Visitation/Celebration of Life Services will be held on Saturday, December 03, 2022 from 2:00 p.m.- 5:00 p.m. at the Cliffside Masonic Lodge, 240 Old Main Street, Mooresboro, NC 28114.
