It is with great sadness that we announce the passing of our beloved husband, father, grandfather and brother, John Stanley Glasbrooks, on Tuesday, July 28, 2026 while at Atrium Healthcare Cleveland surrounded by his loving and devoted family. He was born to Iva Jane Glasbrooks and the late Eddie Truitt Blanton in Buncombe County, North Carolina.
John was survived by his wife, Bernice (Niecee) Glasbrooks; his mother, Iva Blanton; his two sisters, Amanda Melton and Melinda McDaniel; his brother, Lee Matthews; his children Ashley Wray, Michael Glasbrooks, Gena Ward, Becky Zackaroff and Stacy Hager; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren.
He was loved by everyone he met, he had the biggest heart and never met a stranger. He loved DJ-ing, tinkering with his electronics, woodworking and listening to music. He also enjoyed spending time with his family and friends. He will remain in our hearts forever..
Private Family Services will be held at a later date.
Robert Morgan Funeral and Cremation Service, LLC is honored to serve the Glasbrooks family and friends. Memorial tributes may be made at www.rsmorganfsl.com.
