Joe Boyce Watkins

Joe Boyce Watkins, 88 years old, passed away on Monday, October 27, 2025 while at Atrium Healthcare Charlotte, NC. He was born on January 16, 1937 to the late Romulus C. Watkins and Bonnie Dotson Watkins in Cliffside, Rutherford County, NC. He is also predeceased by his first wife and the mother of his sons, Barry and Roderick, Barbara Watkins;  brother, Glen Watkins; sisters, Doris Moss, Virginia Cobb, Grace Cannon, Carolyn Newton and Martha Wortman.

Left to cherish his memory are his present wife, Deborah Watkins of the home; sons, Barry Watkins (Jennifer) of Shelby, NC and Roderick Watkins (Becky) of Arkansas; stepson, Geoffrey Wease (Rhonda) of Earl, numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Joe worked in Construction as an Electrician. He was a wonderful husband, father, grandfather, uncle and brother. He will remain in our hearts forever.

Joe requested no Funeral Services be held.
