Joan (Harris) Harrison

GAFFNEY, SC - Joan Harris Harrison, 86, of Blacksburg, SC, passed into eternal life on Sunday, December 27, 2020. Joan was born March 5, 1934 to Earl and Eva Harris.

Joan was one who loved life to the fullest. Through the years her life was filled with music, dancing, laughter, fishing, "bubble gum" and trips to the beach. She loved life in the sun!

If you ask her now where she is? Just as she would say of Daddy (these past 6 years), "I'm walking on the mountain with Jesus." Today, hand in hand, they are both walking on the mountain with Jesus!

She was a wonderful Mama and Mawmaw who loved her family and will be missed very much.

She was the wife of Bobby Joe Harrison who preceded her into eternal life as well as her son Howard Dean Harrison (Betty).

Always to be remembered by her children: son, Joey Harrison (Danka aka Australia), daughter, Debbie Assad (Najib). Grandchildren: Amy Harrison, Emily Littlejohn, Tabitha Wilson (William), Chris Harrison, Derek Duncan (Donna) Brianna Assad, Aaron Assad, and Nathan Assad. Great-grandchildren: Olivia, Nora, Rachel, Brittany (Brandon), Jordan, Cason, Seth, Kaden, and Isabella; Honorary Grandson: Joshua.

Survived by two siblings: sister, Mary Jane Johnson; brother, David Harris.

The family would like to thank all of Joan's caregivers the past few years. You have been wonderful! [❤]

Joan will be laid to rest by her family in a Private Service at a later date.
